He is survived by: his wife Lori Hesselink of Marion; his children, Adam (Molly) of Byron Center and Bethany Hesselink of Byron Center; his granddaughters, Sophie and Billie; his siblings, LD Hesselink (Ellen) of Marion, Bev Orvis (John) of Marion, Sue Peterson (Don) of Cadillac, Connie Hesselink of Marion and Greg Hesselink (Laura) of Marion; his in-laws, Gayl Kessel (Brad) of Grand Rapids and Mark Dykstra (Danell) of Houston, TX; and his close friends, Randy Gilde, Don Ryan, Larry Kirt, Paul Yowell and Ryan Meadows.
