He was predeceased by: his wife Georgette Olson; his mother Ruth Waldron; his stepfather Harry Waldron; his father Albert Olson; and his stepmother Svea Olson.
He is survived by: his brother Albert Jr. Olson (Joanne) of Cocoa Beach, Florida; his children, Kimberly Burdine (Todd) of Manton and Jan Olson of Traverse City; his grandchildren, Craig Helsel (Angie) of Manton, Nathan Helsel of Manton and Wendy Olson of Traverse City; and his great grandchildren, Clayton and Austin Helsel of Manton.
