He was predeceased by: his parents, John Riggs and Nancy Riggs (Ford); and his parents-in-law, Willard and Mary Jane Smith. He is survived by: his wife Sharon Smith; his daughter Mary Riggs (Michael Hull); his granddaughter Rachel Hull; his pets, Sheba, Harley, Scooter and Cleo; his sister Alma Daugherty; and his siblings-in-law, Donald Smith, Diane Schultz, Carol Cruickshank, Cindy Waananen (Mike), Jeff Smith (Elizbeth), Bonnie Smith (Doug Otis), Gary Smith and Holly Ballard. He is also survived by nieces, nephews.
