As Lucille departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Lucille may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories we hold dear and the legacy Lucille leaves behind.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Beve Clark and Susan Clark (Oliver); her daughter Verona Maddox; and her close friend Lyle Drugich. She is survived by : her grandchildren, Rob Schmitt, Lacey Rumble and Laura Barefoot; and her children, Virgil Gibson, Cathy Manning, Vickie Park and Fred Schmitt. She is also survived by grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Saturday, April 27th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Marsh Funeral Chapel (2675 Main St, Marlette, MI 48453). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 27th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Marsh Funeral Chapel - Marlette (2675 Main St, Marlette, MI 48453). A burial was held on Monday, April 29th 2024 at the Rosedale Cemetery.
