He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Everett Preston and Vera Preston; his sisters, Grace Preston, Phyllis Melgaard of Arizona, Carol Oleskie and Kathy Oleskie of Shelby Township; his former wife Barbara Hinton; his children, Faith Thieda (Roger) of Port Huron, Hope Brown (Jim) of Casco, Danny, Brian Preston (Trisha) of Oregon, Joy Carney (John) of Florida and Dawn Czarnecki (Mark) of National City; his wife Erlene Little-Christner; and his stepchildren, Roxi Mansueto (Joe) of South Carolina, Bobby Christner (Jeannie) of Marlette and Vicky Ross (Dave) of Marlette. He was also cherished by Dad was blessed with twenty grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren and 15 great-great grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the Good News Assembly of God (4011 S Van Dyke Rd, Marlette, MI 48453).
