He was predeceased by: his parents, Rose Marie "Rozzy" Cook and Joseph Horter; and his nephew Scott Zuidewind. He is survived by: his husband Dwayne Harris-Horter; his sister Shelly Smit (Larry); his stepsister Kathy Stevens; his nephew Lance Smit; his mother-in-law Helen Harris; and his sister-in-law Pattie Harris.
