He was predeceased by: his wife Jean Diane Paquette (Trudeau); his parents, Mary Paquette and Emil Paquette; his brothers, Emil Paquette Jr. and Richard Paquette; his son Curt Paquette; his in-laws, Adele and John Trudeau II (Phyllis) of Marquette; and his brothers-in-law, Arthur Belanger (Jack) and William Frazier (Mickey).
He is survived by: his children, Joseph Paquette (Toni Moberg) of Kingman, AZ, Vicki Jordens (Gary "Mic") of Marquette and Paula Paquette (Mike Wipfli) of Marquette; his grandchildren, James Whitlow (Allison Moon), Heather Mattson (Michael) of Marquette, Tony Paquette (Mimi Gentry) of Seattle, WA, Joshua Tryan-Hernandez (Christopher) of Milwaukee, WI, Garrett Paquette of Ishpeming, MI and Andy Tryan of Ishpeming, MI; and his in-laws, Robert Belanger (Helen), Jerry Trudeau (Sandy), Sharon Carlson (Earl "Butch") of Skandia, Darlene Frazier of Marquette, Randy Trudeau (Barbara) of Marquette, Betty Belanger of Marquette and Harvey. He is also survived by eight great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the DJ Jacobetti Home for Veterans in Marquette and the Chocolay Senior Center in Harvey.
