He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Forss and Ina Forss (Johnson); his wife Janet Forss; and his siblings, Edward Forss, Lenore Feltner and Carolyn Forss.
He is survived by: his daughter Kari Gonzalez (Luis) of Milwaukee; his grandchildren, Sydney Nies (Marshall), Savannah DePratt, Colton DePratt and Federico Gonzalez; and his sisters, Helen Stolpe and Eunice Carpenter. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
