He is survived by: his parents, Marianne Nelson (Parlberg) and Scott Nelson; his wife Stephanie (Humpula); his daughter Madeleine; his in-laws, Beverley and Dennis Humpula; his grandfather Raymond Parlberg (Arlene); his brothers, Steven Hoffman (Lindsey) and David Nelson (Becky Barcia); his brother-in-law Benjamin Humpula; his niece Mikayla Hoffman; and his nephews, Evan Hoffman and Jason Ott. He is also survived by numerous special friends and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be directed to his family where an educational fund will be created for his daughter, Madeleine.
