He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Rom and Rose Rom (Rolando); his wife Claire Ozello; and his son-in-law Richard Bronswick. He is survived by: his children, Mary Bronswick of Antioch, IL and Joseph Rom (Joy Cardillo) of Marquette; and his grandchildren, Emily Bronswick of Antioch, IL, Jake Bronswick of Antioch, IL, Claire Ausonia Rom of Marquette and George Washington Rom of Marquette. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Bay Cliff Health Camp and St. Jude Children's Hospital.
