She was predeceased by: her parents, Marilyn Sandberg and Harold Sandberg; and her husband Laurence Ziomkowski. She is survived by: her children, Kyra Goodrich (Robbie) and Lukas Ziomkowski (Rebecca); her grandchildren, Jack, Eileen, Julia, Welly, Keaton, Lane, Theo, Louis, Roscoe, Collette, Ella, Josiah and Kiah; her siblings, Sharon, Robert (Pam), Deborah (Jim), Patricia and Jeanne (Malcolm); Mateo.
A graveside service was held on Monday, August 31st 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Park Cemetery (301 N 7th St, Marquette, MI 49855). Visitation was held on Monday, August 31st 2026 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Canale-Tonella Funeral Home and Cremation Services (526 N 3rd St, Marquette, MI 49855).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Diana's memory to Room at the Inn in Marquette, Great Lakes Recovery Centers in Ishpeming, or Samaritas Refugee Services.
