She was predeceased by: her parents, Isaac Anttila and Aili Anttila (Kangas); her grandparents, Henry and Margaret Anttila; her husband Bernie (Bernie); her siblings, Peter Anttila, Richard Anttila, Anna Anttila and Mary Ellen Tarvainen; and her siblings-in-law, James Pelkola, Paul Bekkala and Sue Anttila.
She is survived by: her children, Walter, Kenneth (Jennifer), Ronald, Kathleen Simonson (Michael) and Daniel; her grandsons, Kennan, Erik and Alex; her sisters, Beatrice Bekkala and Vivian Huotari (Lloyd); and her close friends, Karen, Nancy, Teresa, Margie and Esther. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, August 22nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Laestadian Church (567 Washington St, Ishpeming, MI 49849). A funeral service was held on Friday, August 22nd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
