He was predeceased by: his parents, Norman Roy and Florence Roy (Beaudry); his daughter Corrie Reffruschinni; his brother Norman Roy; and his siblings-in-law, Karen Roy and Dean Krueger.

He is survived by: his former wife Sharon Douville; his wife Sharon "Sherry"; his daughters, Kelly Kurian (Russ Hurkmans) of Marquette and Cathy Van Pay (Dave) of Green Bay, WI; his grandchildren, Megan Bialkowski, Tanya Reffruschinni, Lilly Kurian, Zoe Kurian, Allie Van Pay and Cole Van Pay; his siblings, Tom Roy of Marquette and Carol Beaudry (Paul) of Marquette; and his siblings-in-law, Jan Roy, Susan Krueger, Wayne Douville (Jan) and Bob Douville. He is also survived by four great-grandchildren.
