George Russo Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of George Russo of Marquette, Michigan, who passed away on October 5, 2025 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though his name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint George leaves upon the hearts of his loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of his spirit and the richness of his legacy.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis Russo and Domenica Russo (Villa). He is survived by: his wife Anna Mary Russo (Pitrone); his children, Francis Russo (Allison) of New York and Domenica McKenna (Matt) of Portland; his grandchildren, Rosanna Russo and Elizabeth'Libby'McKenna; and his sister Rose Marie Maki (Ronald) of Marquette. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Paul Catholic Church (202 W Case St, Negaunee, MI 49866). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed in George's memory to Bay Cliff Health Camp or a charity of your choice.
