Gladys Dompierre Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gladys Dompierre of Marquette, Michigan, who passed away on May 19, 2026 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father Henry; her former husband Donald A. Johns; her husband Wilfred G. Dompierre; her granddaughter Caresse Dompierre; and her sisters, Violet Oakley, Doris Cooper and Rosemary Sanders-Lang.
She is survived by: her children, Heather Fulsher (Pat) of Gwinn, Donna Dubord (Mike) of Skandia, Peter Dompierre (Shannon) of Gwinn and John A. Dompierre of Phoenix, AZ; her grandchildren, Tara Menhennick (Mark), Kelly Schultz (Dean), Cory Fulsher (Amanda), Wendy Koski (Byron), Penny Comment (Chris), Michelle Gallo (Mark), Patricia Croston (Ken), Carrie Atkins, Seth Dompierre (Kendra), Sierra Larson (Mikael), Juliet Dompierre, Zane Dompierre, Amber Dompierre and John A. Dompierre, Jr. (Khadija); and her close friend Keith Wills. She is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to St. John's Episcopal Church.
