He was predeceased by: his parents, James Fitzpatrick, and Sarah Fitzpatrick, Sr. (White); his wife Dolores (Brisson); his son James (Skippy); his brothers, Donald and Glenn; his son-in-law Allen Fortin, Sr.; his grandchildren, Allen Fortin, Jr., Jared Hayward and Staci Fortin; and his great grandchild Alyssa Jo Anderson.

He is survived by: his daughters, Colleen Fortin-Pascoe and Cynthia Michelson-Hayward (Neil); his grandchildren, Amber Pascoe, Jill Cooke (Jason), Colleen Michelson (Rachael), James, Mike Michelson (Erin), Bree Spartali (Koutaiba), Jerod Fitzpatrick, Jamee Fitzpatrick, Tiffany Fitzpatrick, Adam Fitzpatrick, Robert Quinnel, Mills and Aaron Hayward; his sister Joan Blemberg; his sister-in-law Maxine Wirtanen; and his daughter-in-law Carol Fitzpatrick. He is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
