We announce the death of Janell J. Heslip of Marquette, Michigan, who passed away on September 25, 2026, at the age of 82. Janell will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her mother Winifred Mahan; her brother Larry Mahan; her granddaughter Nikki Touchinski; and her close friends, Harold Kellen and Trudy Beard.
She is survived by: her husband Tom Heslip; her children, Doug Heslip (Patty), Carole Touchinski (Mike) and Michelle Verbridge (Steve); her grandchildren, Rick Touchinski, Baron, Marlee Heslip and Michael Verbridge; and her sister Dorothy Pappas (Bob).
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Fassbender Swanson Hansen Funeral & Cremation Services (926 N 3rd St, Marquette, MI 49855). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
