She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Wainio and Evelyn Wainio (Moffatt); her husband Ken; her brother Paul Wainio; and her son-in-law Thomas Trafton.

She is survived by: her daughters, Lynda Vickstrom Trafton of San Antonio, TX and Renee Messana (Gerald) of Marquette; her grandchildren, Krystina Ostermeyer (Brad) of Marquette, Sean Soucy (Meghan) of Marquette, Morgan (Matthew Lanagan) of Atlanta, GA and Erynn Messana (Tyler McDonald) of Marquette; her great grandchildren, Logan and Beau; and her sister-in-law Kathy Wainio. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
