The memory of Joyce Evelyn Erath of Marquette, Michigan, who passed away on July 7, 2025 at the age of 83, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her parents, William J. Dionne and Beatrice Dionne (Wager); and her brother Larry Dionne. She is survived by: her husband Donald "Don" Erath of Marquette; her children, Dan Erath of Marquette, Lori DePetro-Schwemin (Rick Schwemin) of Marquette and Cathy Erspamer (Tom) of Marquette; her grandchildren, Jessey, Shannah (Megan), Kelsey, Derrick (Ashley), Tyler, Wyatt, Katie (Erik) and Bryan (Jade); her great grandchildren, Finley, Sula, Landon, Averie, Beau, Callahan, Locklyn, Beckett and Millie; her sister Sherrie Martin (Jim); her cousin Judy Setter; and her close friend Carol Burns. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life was held on Friday, July 11th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the American Legion - Richard Jopling (700 W Bluff St, Marquette, MI 49855).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Joyce's name to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
