She was predeceased by: her parents, Glenn Minzey and Fleda Minzey (VanCampen); her former husband Thomas O'Neil, Sr.; her siblings, Betsy Bernhardt and Glenn Minzey; and her stepsister Lorraine Ward.
She is survived by: her husband Dr. Richard "Dick" Lainson; her children, Judy DiGeorgio of Jacksonville, Tom O'Neil, Jr. (Julie) of Wolverine Lake and Jim O'Neil (Kim) of Ypsilanti, Michigan; her stepchildren, Debbie Stottlemyer and Doug Lainson (Lari); and her nieces, Jacquelyn Pennala, Patricia O'Neil and Sharon Kaldor. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Marquette County Alzheimer's Association.
