She was predeceased by: her parents, Thure Johnson and Evelyn Johnson (Baragwanath); her former husband Richard Ellis; her brother Ronald Johnson; and her nephew Rick Johnson.
She is survived by: her husband Edward Wales; her daughter Sandee Protzman (Jim); her grandchildren, Erin Whisler (Jordan), Kelly Whisler (Jacob) and Derek Protzman (Amanda); her great grandchildren, Avery, Nolan, Aubrey and Eloise; and her siblings, Patricia Shimon (Michael), Mary Constance (Dick), Marcia Franti (David), William Johnson and James Johnson (Les). She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
