She was predeceased by: her parents, Bernard Gentz and Risper Gentz (Pelletier); her husband Donald V. Maki; her daughters, Jayne Maki and Karri Hamari; and her siblings, Judy Kuchler and David Gentz.
She is survived by: her children, Dan Maki (Ginger) and Lori Haapalainen of Marquette; her grandchildren, Jason, Chad Barber (Nikki), Ryan (Stacy), Terra Maki, Dylan and Tanner Hamari; and her sisters, Sally Duer (Randy) and Verlie Sandell of Marquette.
