He was predeceased by: his parents, Onsen German and Mary German; his wife Yvonne German of Fordland, Missouri.; his siblings, Onsen German, Leonard German, George German, Jerry German, Bobby German, Mary Bell and Violet German; and his great grandchild Theo German.

He is survived by: his children, Jerry Lee German (Terri) of Commerce Township, Michigan, Robert John German (Carol) of Jordan, Minnesota and Maria Lynn German of Prior Lake, Minnesota.; his grandchildren, Matthew L. German (Angela), Jessica L. Cicero (Carlo), Alex H. German (Kristen), Katie A. German, Angela Y. Noer and Devon V. Noer (Kaite); his brother Richard German; and his sister-in-law Sharon German. He is also survived by 9 great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Larry's memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
