He was predeceased by: his parents, Archie McCormick and Goldie McCormick (McNamara); and his siblings, Mona Bruce and James McCormick. He is survived by: his wife Gail; his children, Kristopher McCormick of Marquette, Branden "Bud" McCormick (Melissa) of Marquette and Alison McCormick (Kenny Ray) of Marquette; his grandchildren, Callie, Amellia, Kyra, Cole, Riley, Dylan, Porter and Parker; and his siblings, Bernard McCormick (Sharon), Donna Hutchinson and Dale McCormick (Vicky). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the D.J. Jacobetti Home for Veterans Activities Fund, 425 Fisher Street Marquette, in honor of Leroy's years of service and the care he both gave and received there.
