She was predeceased by: her parents, Jerome LaRue and Katherine LaRue (Sharland); and her siblings, Rosemary Diedrich, Rochelle McAuliffe, Katherine Maynard, Marilyn Schmeltzer and Thomas LaRue.

She is survived by: her husband Tom; her children, Tracy Spruitenburg (Gerald) of Gwinn, Brian Parsons of Marquette and Kevin Parsons of Gwinn; her grandchildren, Jaxen J. T. Parsons of Marquette, Allyssa Gentz (Jake) of Duluth, MN, Shanna Spruitenburg of Marquette, Taylor Morse (Rick) of Indiana and Kylie Albright Parsons of Iowa; and her great grandchildren, Landen and Lincoln Gentz. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
