She was predeceased by: her parents, G. Robert Peabody and Constance J. Peabody (McCabe); her husband James Maurice Soper; her siblings, Robert G. Peabody and Katherine Hendrick; and her sister-in-law Trish Peabody.
She is survived by: her children, James Maurice Soper (Karen) of Taylor, MI and Ann Marie Lakenen (Tony) of Marquette; her grandchildren, Alexandra Meyers (Brian), Erin Lakenen (Ryan Heric) and Samual Lakenen; her great grandchildren, Ripley and Wila Meyers; and her siblings, Janet Perrault (Paul), Constance Cobley (Dan), Bill Peabody, Paul Peabody (Pam), Rachel Peabody and Jim Peabody (Patty). She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Mary's name to the Women's Center (wcmqt.org/donate) or Marquette County Medical Care Facility.
