The memory of Michael O. Johnson of Marquette, Michigan, who passed away on September 30, 2025 at the age of 81, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar Johnson and Edith Johnson (Haglund); his sister Betty Roberts; his brother-in-law Pierce Roberts; his nephew David Roberts; and his mother-in-law Shirley Biegler.
He is survived by: his wife Margaret "Maggie" Johnson of Marquette; his children, Joanna Wiitanen (Dan) of Green Bay, WI and Mike Johnson (Gena) of Marquette; his grandchildren, Miles Johnson (Jaden), Michael Johnson, Matthew Johnson, Wyatt Wiitanen and Lily Jo Wiitanen; and his brother-in-law Jerry Biegler. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A reception will be held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Canale Tonella Funeral Home and Cremation Services (526 N 3rd St, Marquette, MI 49855).
