We are sad to announce that, on November 11, 2022 we had to say goodbye to Michael P. Plourde Sr. of Marquette, Michigan, born in Detroit, Michigan. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He is survived by: his mother Concetta Plourde (LaRocca); his wife Rosemary; and his children, Christie (Bryan) and Michael (Heather). He is also survived by five siblings, and his two dogs.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Camp UPeninsulin, Upper Michigan's only summer camp for children with type 1 diabetes.

“Rose I am very sorry for the loss of a good buddy and great man. Mike was my partner in crime for a number of years. I have so many good memories. He was the guy you would call at 3A.M. to come get your car out of a snow bank. Of course he would let you know in no uncertain terms that you woke him up out of a sound sleep and demanding a few Capt. Morgans and coke as compensation. We participated in many basketball games together. He will be very missed.”
