He was predeceased by: his parents, Patrick S. Manning and Mary Prosen Manning; his siblings, Anne Manning and Michael A. Manning (Field); and his brother-in-law Dennis Laine.
He is survived by: his sisters, Mary Manning Mitchell (Peter) and Kathy Laine Hodges (Wally); his niece Stephanie Laine Weston (Nate); his nephews, Christopher Laine and Michael Hodges; his sister-in-law Carol Griewe Manning (Michael); his friends, Paul Dooley, Sylvia Carter, Rod and Julie Calder-Potts of Kilkenny; and his brother Pat.
Visitation was held on Thursday, May 14th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Peter Cathedral (311 W Baraga Ave, Marquette, MI 49855). A funeral service was held on Thursday, May 14th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
