He is survived by: his son Jim Lahtinen (Ellen) of Georgia; his grandson Patrick Lahtinen of Florida; his sisters-in-law, Sue Matthews and Germaine Matthews; and his nieces and nephews, Cathy, Jon, Melody and David. He is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren.
