Phyllis A Johnson Obituary

With sadness, we share the passing of Phyllis A Johnson of Marquette, Michigan. Phyllis, born on December 12, 1937, passed away on June 11, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Melvin Gray (Roy Johnson) and Dora "Vandervest" Gray; her in-laws, Rudolph and Aina Johnson; her son-in-law Chris; and her siblings, Richard Gray and Annice Cappeart.

She is survived by: her daughters, Beth Moilanen (Dale) of Gwinn, MI and Karen Gonyea of Manistique, MI; her siblings, Robert (Mary) and Kathy Honkanen; her grandchildren, Corey Gonyea (McKenzie Mickelson), Kelsy Gonyea and Matthew Moilanen (Alana); her great grandchildren, Henrik and Duncan; and her friend Pat. She is also survived by "daughters", friends.

Memorial donations may be made in Phyllis's honor to the Trillium House of Marquette, MI, or the Manistique School Public Library.
