She is survived by : her husband Oliver Burns, Jr. of Marquette; her children, Oliver Burns III of Escanaba, Ko'wayne T. Burns (Emily Kettu) of Negaunee and Ebonie L. Burns of Gwinn; her grandchildren, Dayvea, Matt, Skyler, Mya, Gianna and Jalen; her siblings, Jeri Hall of Romulus, MI and Earl Hall of Westland, MI; and her sister-in-law Virginia Saleem of Detroit.

Visitation was held on Friday, May 17th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Silver Creek Church (219 Silver Creek Rd, Marquette, MI 49855). A memorial service was held on Friday, May 17th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
