With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Richard Edward Toyra of Marquette, Michigan, born in Escanaba, Michigan, who passed away on September 16, 2022 at the age of 83. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Toyra and Olga Toyra; his wife Nancy; his brother Melvin Toyra; and his nephew Robert Toyra.
He is survived by: his brother William Toyra (late Vicki Layman); his children, Fenton (Maria), Theresa and John Toyra; his stepchildren, Diana Hetrick (Jim), Heidi Hill (Danny), Gretchen Lakenen (Mike) and Bethney Bergh; his grandsons, Zachary and Austin Toyra; and his nieces and nephews, Nicole Miller, Kary Toyra, William Toyra, Peter Toyra and David Toyra (Patti). He is also survived by his children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren as well as his great, great, grandchildren.
