He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Steeland and Joan Steeland (Hanneman); and his siblings, Chuck Steeland, Judy Lovell and Winnie Weidman.
He is survived by: his wife Janice; his daughters, Breann Steeland (Daniel Riley) of Marquette and Randi; his grandchildren, Wiley and Buckley Steeland; his pet George; his brother Paul Steeland (Kathy); and his close friends, Marc, Butch, Rick and Danny. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and in-laws.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Canale-Tonella Funeral Home and Cremation Services (526 N 3rd St, Marquette, MI 49855). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
