He was predeceased by: his wife Jean (Miljour); his parents, Day and Emma Miljour; his father-in-law Ed Miljour; his sister Donna 'Tun Dompierre; and his siblings-in-law, Tony Miljour (Darlene) and Elaine Hyttinen (Arthur).
He is survived by: his children, Steve (Jilaine) of Negaunee Township, Cindy Branch (Jim) of Arizona, Mark (Carol) of Phoenix and Michelle Pirkola (Fran Nelson) of Palmer; his brother-in-law Dave Dompierre of Negaunee; his great grandchildren, Bobbi Ayotte (Braeylnn), Ryan (Nicki), Danielle Pinette, Jerry Pirkola, Sara Uren (Tanner), Kelsey Rossi (Joseph) and Kaylin Ayotte; his cousin Dewey Ayotte (Jean); and his nephews, Dave (Linda), Dennis (Jill), Dean (Jill) and Dan Dompierre.
