He was predeceased by: his parents, Camille Lemire and Stella Lemire (Giguere); his wives, Vera and Marjorie Vogen-Metes; and his siblings, George Lemire, Camille "Skip" Lemire, Rose Mary and Lucille.
He is survived by: his stepson Frank Metes (Sharon) of Allardt, TN; his sisters-in-law, Patricia Lemire of Sands Township and Barbara Brooks (Ron) of Lamesa, TX; his niece Kathi Fitzgerald; and his great-niece Brenda of Oak Lawn, IL. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
