He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Richard "Dick" Sandstrom and Patricia Sandstrom (Joy Olive); his wife Linda Sandstrom (Honkavaara); his children, David Emard, James Sandstrom (Danielle), Candace Billings and Maja Sandstrom; his sister Theresa Schaedig (Bradford); his grandchildren, Ethan, Kendra, Morgan, Arthur, Trent, Jameson, Alexander and Alyssa; his close friends, Randy Trudell and Glenn Kuppin; and his siblings, Steven "Gooch", Richard Sandstrom and Annie Roberts.
