She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Sharples and Rose Sharples (Kirkpatrick); and her spouse LaJoice. She is survived by: her children, Stephen, Joseph LaJoice of Marquette, Jeanmarie Soderberg, Susan Jones (Dewey) of Marquette and Cynthia Torrence (Joseph) of Higgens Lake, Michigan.. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren, and 10 great- great grandchildren.
