William Robert Lyons Obituary
We are sad to announce that on October 4, 2025, at the age of 87, William Robert Lyons (Marquette, Michigan) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As William departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though William may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy William leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his fathers, Michael Lyons and Stanley Laura Lyons (Eagen); his wife Barbara Lyons; and his sisters, Gertrude Sadowsky and Anna Nathan.
He is survived by: his daughters, Nancy Lyons (Laura) and Kathleen Lyons; his grandson Merrick Lyons; his sibling's children, Laura Laughlin and Gregory Sadowsky; and his friend Stanley Peterson. He is also survived by other nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
