She is survived by: her children, Denise Banfield (Melvin) of Tekonsha, Douglas Gates of San Diego, CA and David Gates (Beth) of Palmer, Ala; her daughter-in-law Maria Gates of San Diego, CA; her grandchildren, Brooke, Justin, Kristi, Garett, Alexandra and Matthew; her great grandchildren, X'Ander, Azlynn, Sophia, Autumn, Juliana and Grant; and her brother Tom Coffey (Jean) of Jackson, MI. She is also survived by niece and several nephews.
