Blain A. Cornwell Obituary
Blain Arthur Cornwell, 63, of Marshall, Michigan, passed away peacefully on July 10, 2025, surrounded by those who loved him most.
Blain was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, and friend. He spent his life building, not just with his hands, but with his heart. Whether it was through his work as a restaurant and campground owner, his years of service as a firefighter, or the countless projects he tackled with passion and skill, Blain left a lasting impact on everyone who knew him. He was devoted to his community in a selfless manner.
Born on August 25, 1961, Blain grew up learning the value of hard work, family, and laughter. He found joy in traveling, woodworking, and spending time outdoors, but his greatest happiness came from being surrounded by his family — especially around a good campfire. His jokes, his charm, and his unwavering integrity made him unforgettable.
Blain is survived by his beloved wife of 42 years, Patti; his daughters Elyse (John Michael) and Chelsea (Justin); and his cherished grandchildren: Xander, Raiden, Wyatt, Maverick, Hadley, and Emery. He is also survived by his mother Joellyn, and his siblings. He was preceded in death by his father, Alan.
