We announce the death of Charlene Boyd of Marshall, Michigan, born in Chicago, Illinois, who passed away on May 29, 2026, at the age of 84. She was predeceased by: her parents, Sol Capitol and Kay Capitol (Schwartz); her husband James Boyd; her niece Shanna; her nephew Patrick; and her brother-in-law Terry Sweeter.
She is survived by: her sisters, Mindy Sweeter and Renee Diamond (Jack); and her nieces and nephews, Rebecca McKenzie, Billy Sweeter (Sarah), Robert Sweeter, Troy Sweeter, April Edwards (Raymond), Ilene Bailey, Ron Goldberg (Jane) and Brian Diamond. She is also survived by several great nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
