He was predeceased by: his parents, Lester Travis and Hazel Travis (Butler); his granddaughter Sarah Barnes; and his siblings, Virgil Travis, Betty Wharton, Mary Rose Blodgett, Maurice Travis, Marvin Travis and Martin Travis.
He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Sauter; his children, Chester Travis of Boynton Beach, James Travis (Tricia) of Ocala, Terry Travis (Judith) of Marshall, Richard Travis of Marshall, Roger Travis of Battle Creek and Sharon Barnes (Ted) of Bronson; his siblings, Goldie Carlson of Pontiac, Martha Beckley of Fairbury, Shirley Casper (Fred) of Pontiac and Robert Travis (Diane) of Forest, Illinois.; and his close friend Craig Kempf (Sue). He is also survived by his 17 grandchildren, 38 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren.
