We bid farewell to David Troy Pemberton (Marshall, Michigan), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on July 9, 2025 at the age of 65. David Troy touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Melvin Pemberton and Dolores Pemberton (Alswedee); his sister Meladee Pemberton; and his grandparents, Russell, Joy Allsweed, Melvin and Margaret Pemberton.
He is survived by: his husband Richard Ziolkowski-Pemberton; his brothers, Brett Pemberton and Melvin "Skip" Pemberton (Patricia); his nieces, Chelsea and Nicole Pemberton; and his pet Wendy.
Visitation was held on Monday, July 14th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Kempf Family Funeral and Cremation Services - Marshall (723 US Hwy 27 N, Marshall, MI 49068). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, July 15th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Tuesday, July 15th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at the Oakridge Cemetery (614 Homer Rd, Marshall, MI 49068).
In Lieu of flowers, donations can be made out to Save the Music Foundation, Great Escape Stage Company, or Midwest Boston Terrier Rescue.
