He was predeceased by : his parents, Clarence Neal and Vera Neal; his son Walter Neal; and his siblings, Richard Kellogg, Clarence Kellogg, Aulton Neal, Donnie Neal, Lucille Burch and Irene Williams.

He is survived by : his children, Sherry Psychas (Greg), Gary Neal (Linda), Wendy Kortman (Steven), Carl Neal (Marlene) and Jody Frohm; and his siblings, Harold Neal and Linda Neal. He is also survived by 19 grandchildren, 37 great-grandchildren, and 5 great-great-grandchildren.
