It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Melba Jackson of Marshall, Michigan, who passed away on January 1, 2026, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Sanford Ratliff and Sadie Ratliff (Slusher); her husband Gilbert Jackson; her son Kyle Jackson; her siblings, Frank, David Ratliff, Dorothy Quada and Jean Collins; and her siblings-in-law, Nancy Thomas and Jeff Ruddock.
She is survived by: her children, Greg Crull of Marshall, Lance McCreary (Mallory) of Marshall, Chris McCreary (Cassie) of Cleveland and Teri Letts (Ken) of Marshall; her sisters, Magdalene Petroff and Josephine Owens; her grandchildren, Brandon, Josh, Maya, Logan, Haidyn, Benton, Griffin, Izabell and Eliana; and her great grandchildren, Malcolm and Malaya. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
