He was predeceased by: his mother Myrtle Slone (Slone); his stepmother Grayson Slone (Inez); his stepdaughter Kimberly Ryan; his grandson Ryan Bowman; and his siblings, Kelly Slone, Lema Slone, Bufford Slone, Hazel Schiffano and Stanley Slone.
He is survived by: his close friend Barbara Jean Ryan; the mother of his children Jacqueline Wait; his children, David L. Slone (Julie), Rickie J. Slone (Ginger) and Shari B. Gallagher; his stepson John Ryan; his grandchildren, Michael, Derek, Corey, Schuyler, Sean and Jessica; his great grandchildren, Taylor, Travis, Dominic, Zach, Vincent, Madison, Austin, Logan, Oliver, Adaline, Jaxon, Lyla Jo, Ace "Ivy", Jade, Alyssa, Brooklyn and Coltyn Obie; his great great grandchild Vinny; and his siblings, Ruthalo Jacobs, Marion Slone and Hiram Slone.
