He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis "Howard" Shippell and Lena Shippell (Denniston); his siblings, Marilyn Potter, Ruth Stout and Ray Shippell; and his brothers-in-law, Harold Willison, Bill Stout and Cloye Potter.
He is survived by: his wife Sue Shippell (Fowler); his sons, Dale Shippell and Mike Shippell; his grandchildren, Andrew Shippell, Ben Shippell, Jeff Shippell and Taylor Shippell; his great grandchildren, Camden Shippell and Wyatt Shippell; and his siblings, Donald Shippell and Helen Willison.
