He was predeceased by : his parents, Paul W. Kiessling and Donna L. Kiessling (Hamilton). He is survived by : his significant other Marjorie L. Yaudes; his children, Troy Kiessling (Kathy), Tamara Kiessling Strole (Matthew) and Jennifer Kiessling Harding (Allen); his grandchildren, Kaitlyn Kiessling Defouw (Noah), Dr. Karalyn Kiessling (Michael Linn), Benjamin Crocker and Eryn Kiessling Dunn (Austyn); his great grandchildren, Jack and Riley Defouw; and his siblings, David Kiessling (Carol) and Jeannette Glen (David). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Thursday, April 25th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Kempf Family Funeral and Cremation Services (723 US Hwy 27 N, Marshall, MI 49068). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 26th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.

The family suggests memorial contributions to a cause that Bob held close to his heart, Great Lakes Burn Camp, P.O. Box 6189, Jackson, MI 49204.
