He was predeceased by: his mothers, Edith Griffith (William Weers) and Mary Griffith (Weakley); and his sister Lynn Weakley Minser. He is survived by: his wife Marion Weers; his children, Elizabeth Weers and Jeffrey Weers (Kimberly); his granddaughters, Victoria Weers and Mackenzie Nicholls (Bradley); his great grandchildren, Michael Nicholls and Amelia Nicholls; and his siblings, Jerry Griffith, Linda Tuttle and Kim Parrish (Jeff).
In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to be made to First Baptist Church of Marshal (305 West Michigan Avenue, Marshall, MI 49068).
